How we met: Valaurian says, “we were introduced online via the dating site OKCupid. We're both from and live in Detroit, but our circles never overlapped so the chances of meeting randomly in person were slim to none. We decided to have our first date at the Detroit Institute of Arts since it's my favorite spot in the city. The rest as they say, is history. We got married this past November, and had our reception at the Detroit Historical Museum. We've been together for six years.”
